ON-LINE REGISTRATION OF TEAMS AND PLAYERS & WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY REQUIRED IN 2015:
All team registration will be paperless in 2015 and must be completed on-line including payment of the tournament entry fee and deposit. New in 2015, once a team has been registered, all players must individually register on line at the tournament website. In registering for the tournament, the person registering the team agrees to comply with all registration requirements including the requirement that each player must be individually registered at the tournament web site. We will provide simple instructions in Spring 2015 to help team managers coordinate player registration. Each player will complete the tournament waiver and medical release on line. Note that the roster for each team will be automatically developed based on the individual player registrations. No player will be permitted to participate without completion of the online registration process, to include the electronic waiver sign.
5) PROOF OF AGE AND ELIGIBILITY:
Lake Placid Lacrosse values honesty and trust among its participants and will largely rely upon the honorable behavior of its participating teams with regard to the eligibility of its players. Nonetheless, all teams are responsible for ensuring that each of its players has valid photo identification in their possession during tournament games. There are no exceptions to the divisional age requirements as published in this invitation. Random halftime identification checks maybe be conducted during the tournament and all allegations related to the use of ineligible players will be investigated by tournament staff. Teams and players violating divisional age requirements are subject to forfeiture and disqualification.
6) PROHIBITION OF PLAYING IN MORE THAN ONE DIVISION:
No player is permitted to play for more than one team in any single age division. Although not encouraged, players may play for teams in different age divisions so long as they are age eligible for each division they play in. Teams that are dependent upon players who are playing in multiple divisions are strongly discouraged. Lake Placid Lacrosse cannot be responsible for schedule conflicts caused by teams that are dependent upon players trying to populate more than one team in different age divisions. For the sake of competition, limited exceptions to this prohibition will be considered so long as both teams participating in any single game agree in advance of the game, under the supervision of game officials, to allowing players who are ineligible under this prohibition to participate.
7) CODE OF CONDUCT AND TOURNAMENT AND FACILITY RULES:
All participants are required to abide by the Lake Placid Lacrosse Code of Conduct, the Tournament Rules of Play and the Tournament Facility Rules. There will be zero tolerance of behavior that is inconsistent with any of the aforementioned and Lake Placid Lacrosse reserves the right to expel any violating parties from the event and its sites. The above documents are available for review at the tournament website listed below.
